Being an experienced-based bookkeeper I’m not afraid to get stuck in to problem solve and get the job done.
Working closely with business owners to ensure their financial reports are correct and up to date is rewarding. Plus it means clients feel confident to aim for their business goals knowing they have a trustworthy team working with them to support their success.
I started working in accounts payable and moved onto bookkeeping to learn new things and have a more complete understanding of financial processes.
Over the years, I have worked across a wide range of industries from coffee shops, bars and liquor stores to automotive, dental, furniture and veterinary.
Since joining the Lumos Business Solutions team in April 2024 I have been working with a digital marketing business, lawyer and real estate agency.
The Lumos team provide great support to one another and no question is a silly question, just like we tell our clients.
This year, I’m looking forward to expanding my qualifications and starting a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping with the aim to become a registered BAS agent.
My role here at Lumos I am responsible for
- Reconciling all transactions from bank/ credit cards
- Processing invoices either from Hubdoc or Dext
- Processing payroll
- Assistance with preparing BAS, PAYG and superannuation
- BAS checklists
My other hats include Mum of two pre-teens who are growing up way too fast. I’m a dance-mum, helping with fundraising plus treasurer of the primary school P&C.
